Interview Questions about the negative effects of the economy 

Interview: Billie 

Interviewee: D 

Billie: Hola, estoy un estudiante estudiando los efectos negativos de la economía en Madrid.  Puedo hacerte preguntas sobre esta comunidad? Esta información es para mi papel. Necesito cambiar tu nombre para confidencialidad. Esta bien? 

• Hello, I am a student studying the negative effects of the economy in Madrid. Can I ask you questions about this community? This information is for my papel. I need to change your name for the confidentiality. Is that okay? 

D: Si 

• Yes 

Billie: Porque estoy aquí en esta parque? 

• Why are you here in this park? 

D:Estamos en Campalos, porque aquí estas el ministerio de salidad, political sociales, y igualdad. Es señoras son los que cobran para que la constitución se cumpla son funcionaros pagados por todos nosotros.  En los artículos 14 y 15. 

• We are in the camps, because here is the ministry of social politics and equality. The people that charge the money. The constitution is fulfilled with the funciones for paying us. Articles 14 and 15 are examples. 

Billie: Qué significan las señales y las palabras? 

• What do the signs and words mean? 

D: Las palabras son todo que creemos, por ejemplo en agosto serán la mayoría o la gente poderes no pueden comer. nadie sin hogar es un movento.  

• The words we believe for example, in August the majority of the poor people could not eat anything. No one without a home is a movement. 

Billie: Para cuánto tiempo están aquí? 

• How long are you all here

D: Salimos cuando ellos [the ministry] ayudan o pagas o buscan un trabajo, hay tres compartimentos y hay 130 personas aquí más de 130, entonces 130 storias. 

-We’ll leave when they help us or pay or find us a job. There a three compartments [of tents] and 130 people here, more than 130 people, so 130 and more stories. 

Billie: Porque, las carpas son verde? 

• Why are the tents green? 

D: Son Iguales. 

• They are equal 

Billie: Hay quanto personas aquí? 

• How many people are here? 

D: 130 y mas 

• 130 and more 

Billie: Todos están que están personas sin hogar? 

• Is everyone here homeless? 

D: Todos la gente aquí están el la calle o otros no tiene donde 

• Everyone here are in the streets or don’t have anywhere 

Billie: La policia molestarte? 

• Do the police bother you? 

D: No la policia suporta bien, los personas bien 

• No the police supports, they are good people 

Billie: Todos della gente aquí de España o otro lugares? 

• Are all of the people here from Spain or other places? 

D: No hay españoles, Colombianos, paraguayos, uruguayos, la gente de bosnia y todos de los lados. Romanos, italianos, y hay más hombres de mujeres 

• No, there are Spanish, Colombians, Paraguayans, Uruguayans, Bosnian people, Romans, Italians, and there are more men than women.
